splash of a pink martini

a year ago my eyes came upon a few words noting that pink martini was going to be coming through oklahoma city this year... so i got together a few people i kenw would appreciate pink martini in all their glory and we attended the show last night, and lemme tell you, it was GLORIOUS. i wish the setting had been in a bar/club because dancing to their music may have just been the necessary ingredient to completing my life, but it was still an amazing show, so... i'm not bitter.

it made me appreciate oklahoma a little more, but what i realized over that was how nice it would be to live in a bigger city where pink martini or similar in a bar/club WOULD happen. i forced my mother to attend pink martini tonight, and i know that their gang will love it... it was a great night though, followed by driving around my favorite parts of the city and chilling at the conservatory with aubrie for a while. i came home to kathleen and kate about to start the old audrey hepburn "sabrina" and sat down to that...

just one of those nights that leave you in a good mood.

i'm going to baltimore soon, so i'll be in that city that allow fun times to flow from place to place... every stop has its own special characteristics that make that place unique and fun.

the world needs more people that know how to have fun.
