sigh of relief
earlier this week i was thinking to myself... and i happened to say outloud... damn... i really just need a week of no school! i could catch up on my studying for the MCAT and lounge around and work and clean... get my life in order... i still haven't even unpacked from my trip to las vegas which was what... 5 weeks ago??! geez.
anyhow... directly after saying this outloud i was informed by a friend of mine that spring break is in fact this week... er... who knew? so i get my week off... i get to do the things i'd love so much to do... and i'm going back to blonde. ohhhhh yeah.
so... i haven't updated in a while because nothing much has been new. i still miss my sister a lot... i miss old friends that i have lost... and i still get depressed about it... i still am working a lot and studying a lot... yada yada yada.
i decided not to go anywhere for spring break so that i can spend 3 weeks on vacation once school gets out... 1 week in florida with mizi and elaine and some of her friends and two weeks... or maybe a bit less in balty with my lovely big sister.
i don't have any really new and exciting theories... however... this was interesting... kevin, my pharmacist posed a question to me the other day... "do you believe in fate or in coincidences in life... and i think the best way to say what i believe was depicted by daniel... we have a beginning and an end... call it a destined end or fate... but the pathes to get to that end can be many. if you're going to a building... there may be 100 ways to get there... but you're getting there all the same. everyone has their own path and if two people paths should cross in coincidence, then so be it and it may get tangled up... and that may be your destined end or maybe not... perhaps its only coincidence, but in the end, we end up where we are supposed to...
"but mary, are you saying we have no choice, we can't work harder and change our path?"
NO. thats not what i'm saying... work hard, don't copout. but if you work hard and end up being an amazing lawyer or whatever and changing your life and path, that where you are supposed to be. a million paths will lead to the same destination.
